Finish your year well! Now in it’s second year, the Lomond Triathlon is the perfect way to wind down the year in style.

Be part of this stunning off-road Triathlon happening just outside the coastal town of Gansbaai at Lomond Wine Estate. You will be spoilt with a large dam, beautiful views and stunning routes in the Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy.  

Do the whole triathlon as a solo or bring your friends or family along and do it in a team (2 OR 3 person per team).

This event takes place over a long weekend and we are hosting an Open Water Swim (3km, 1 mile or 500m) the following day at the same venue. What better way to enjoy a long weekend in December.

There are several accommodation options in Franskraal, Uilenkraalsmond, Pearly Beach, Stanford, Hermanus and more. These areas are however busy during the December season so book your accommodation early. Try Airbnb or Gansbaai Tourism for a few ideas.

Live music, lots of wine, beer and other refreshments will be available at the venue. 

Be sure to bring friends and family along to support you while doing this fun challenge.

FULL – 1.2km Swim, 30km MTB, 12km Trail Run

SPRINT – 400m Swim, 15km MTB, 6km Trail Run

• A bottle of Lomond Wine is included in your entry fee (or you can choose a medal instead).
• Unlicensed athletes need to get a day license from Triathlon South Africa (TSA). R120 for the FULL and R35 for the SPRINT.  This is for TSA to cover the insurance costs for all athletes.  The amount is per individual or per team.
• You have the option of purchasing an amazing branded BOLDGEAR t-shirt for only R250! 
  • Sublimated technical running t-shirt with mesh back to keep you cool.
