The Sunfield Home Trail Run is a fun 5km walk/run, 10km and 17km Trail Run in aid of the Sunfield Home in Wellington.
Sunfield Home
Every person, every place has a story to tell and Sunfield is no exception. Their story begins more than twenty years ago. At the time, a need to establish a safe haven for intellectually disabled adults was identified Today they provide a loving and nurturing environment for 96 residents and 10 day-care individuals of 18 to well over 70 years of age.
Event Info:
5km Walk / Run - Very easy and flat to accommodate residence from the Sunfield Home to also be able to walk/run the distance and enjoy the day. Walkers that are not able to walk the full 5km can do a shorter distance around the dam.
10km Trail Run - This will be a more challenging run for the the more serious runners!!
17km Trail Run
Entry Fee:
5km - R80
10km - R100
17km - R130
An additional R20 will be charged on the day for late entries.
Medals for all.
Great lucky draws. No 1st, 2nd or 3rd prizes as the day is in support of the two charities and not to be competitive. It's a fun day out!!
Food stalls, good wine, craft beer, music, play area for the kids.
