SOLO TRAIL RUN:

Complete a minimum of 4 x 5.25km laps in 8 hours to qualify for a MEDAL.

Entry Fee – R300-00 pp


EXTREME 2 MAN TRAIL TEAM:

6 x 5.25km Laps Relay, both runners run the final 7th lap together to qualify for a MEDAL.

(Each runner does 21km in total)

Entry Fee – R300-00 pp

 

JUNIOR - TRAIL RUN:

Complete 2 x 5,25km laps to qualify for a MEDAL.

Entry fee – R120-00 pp

Age limits on the Junior Trail Run have been removed.
This gives you the opportunity to be part of this awesome challenge and also share the experience with friends and family. 
Without having to be extremely fit ;)

EVENT TIMING:

In keeping with pushing the boundaries and revolutionising cycling and running around Paarl, the team at 8 Hours Challenge has commissioned MTBRoutes.co.za for the time-keeping of the 8 Hour Challenge.


Results for the both days will be powered by the popular fitness app, Strava© with the leaderboards automatically calculated from all connected accounts that have entered the event and completed the segments.

You can also take part in the competition within the competition. Badges are all about fun and adding a social element to races while strengthening our community. However, they do confer bragging rights and are displayed in your digital trophy case!


Badges will be awarded to the winners of specific technical sections deemed challenging and worth the badge as well as for the KOM/QOM segment!
