Welcome to the VIRTUAL ALL RIDE presented by WILD AIR!
What is it all about?
Well, it's simply an opportunity for ALL of us to RIDE our bikes! That's right, no matter where you are in South Africa, you can participate! On the weekend of the 19th and 20th of September, all you need to do is go for a 25km ride (or more if you're feeling Olympic) to be part of the radness!
To spice things up, we've got R85 000 worth of lucky draw prizes to give away:

The best part is that entry is FREE!
How does it work?
In order to participate all you need is to is enter the event and be a registered user on the Strava training APP. If you are not yet on Strava simply head over to your APP store on your smart phone, download the app, register an account and you are good to go! You do not need the paid version of Strava to participate. Follow the entry process and voila, you’re in!
Come event weekend, simply record your ride on Strava, save and upload it and we will take care of the rest!

1. When will the Virtual ALL RIDE take place?
The Virtual ALL RIDE presented by WILD AIR TV takes place on the 19th and 20th of September 2020
Participants ride wherever they are in South Africa and at their own pace.
2. When do registrations open?
Entries open on 24 August 2020.
3. When do registrations close?
Entries close on Wednesday the 18th of September 2020 (midnight).
4. How do I know if I’m registered?
You will receive a registration confirmation email. If you do not contact [email protected].
5. What to do once you’ve registered?
Simply ride a minimum of 25km on the 19th or 20th of September, upload your ride to Strava and we will do the rest.
6. Can I use my smart watch or do I need to ride with my phone?
If you do not have a smart watch that is linked to your Strava account then you will have to ride with your phone. Make sure your Strava profile is marked as public and not private. If it is marked as private, you will not get a result and with therefore not qualify for the draw.
7. Must a ride exactly 25km?
If you find your groove and want to ride more than 25km, you are welcome to do so. Your ride will still qualify you as a finisher and for the prize draw.
You cannot:
- ride 25km over the two days, you have to complete 25km in a single ride
8. To which platforms can I share my experience (photographs/run/finishers certificate)?

9. Can I ride on a stationary bike or smart trainer?
Yes, as long as the activity is recorded on Strava and uploaded on Strava during the event window period and the minimum 25km distance is covered.
10. Will I be able to ride with friends or family?
This will strictly depends on the COVID-19 related hygiene, physical and social distancing regulations, and lockdown levels set out by the participants’ local authorities. It is the participants sole responsibility to ensure they adhere to the government COVID-19 regulations.
11. How will my race be timed?
Participants will be required to download and use Strava Training App.
The App will use participant’s cell phone GPS tracker to track their progress, which means participants must ride with their phones and have their phone’s location function switched on.
12. How do I access the Strava Training App?
There are a few steps participants need to follow:
Step 1 - Download Strava mobile app from your app store.
Step 2 – Register and create a public profile. If your profile is marked as private, we will not be able to record your ride and you will not get a result or go into the draw.
Step 3 – During the event simply record your activity. Be sure to select “Ride”
13. Where will I see my results?
Final results will be available post event on the WILD AIR website.
