The inaugural WESTRAND Marathon was to be held on the 22 March 2020 consisting of a 10km & 5km. With the advent of Covid-19 this has now been converted into a virtual race on 4 October 2020.
The WESTRAND Marathon is an event for everyone, catering for kids, adults and pensioners.
The vision of the WESTRAND Marathon is to establish a sustainable community focused running event, encouraging athletes of all levels to lead healthy lifestyles and further their personal fitness goals through running.
