Van Gaalen Trails
This will be the 8th year in a row we are hosting one of the best family fun and team building mountain bike events in South-Africa. The participants camp on the farm with their supporters and for 24 hours they ride either as individuals or in teams of 2, 4 or 8 riders. The individual or team that rides the most laps in their category will be the winner. It is an event where young and old ride together with great comradery. At night there are camp fires on route for atmosphere and safety.

Come join one of the most interactive and social MTB event’s of the year! The 24 Hour is a mountainbiking event suitable for the whole family.
THIS YEAR WE WILL HAVE LIVE MUSIC ON SUNDAY FROM 10:00-14:00.
The 24 hour @ Van Gaalen’s is 13.2km lap route. Riders compete around the clock to ride as many laps as possible within 24-hours.

This year we will have 2 Sessions for the 6 Hour that you can participate in
Session 1 - Start Sat15:00 Finish 21:00 (Day/Night)
Session 1 - Start Sun 6:00 Finish 12:00 (Day only)
Both sessions will be competing for the 6 Hour category.
Free Camping facilities for all riders( First come first serve)
Restricted space for only 450 participants
Food & Drinks Available @ The Transition Zone
Saturday 12:00 -21:00
Sunday 06:30 - 12:00
Supplement table at the cross-over point.
Bathrooms and hot Showers available for all riders.
Charging Station for lights and Phones etc @ Transition Zone
Requirements
Be Self sufficient( no electricity points in Campsite)
Responsible for your own lighting for both your bike and Campsite.
No open Fires please. Gas Braai’s allowed
