DISCRIPTION
Come and join us for a morning outdoors in nature and experience the spectacular trails that Shongweni has to offer. Bring the whole family along with 6km and 12km distances to choose from and relax with family and friends while enjoying some food and refreshments on offer at the venue.
There are epic Viking Trail Run medals and wrist bands for all finishers in both events as well as cash prizes on offer for the top 3 Male and Female podium finishers in both events. Prize monies will be paid via EFT after the event. (Please note that due to covid-19 restrictions there will be no prize giving at the event)
All entrants will have the opportunity to win loads of lucky draw prizes that will be up for grabs from our amazing sponsors. Winners will be chosen the day after the event and prizes will be sent to those lucky winners.
The best dressed Viking on the day will win a Salomon shoe voucher so let you inner Viking loose and you could walk away with a new pair of Salomon shoes.
All Covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to so face masks are mandatory at the venue. We will be sending runners off in batches of 100 every 10min starting at 6am with the 12km entries starting first. Please note that first come first serve so once each batch has filled its capacity of 100 you will need to wait for the next batch start.
There will be water tables on route but we will be following a cupless system. So please bring your own Hydration packs or fold up cups.
