PLAISIR des SENTIERS - 16 December 2021 TBC
at Plaisir De Merle Wine Farm.
The beautiful Plaisir de Merle Wine Estate is situated at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountain between Paarl and Franschhoek And is the perfect venue for a Trailrunning Festival of Fun, on Bastille Day !
New 35km Trail Challenge. Brutal start, heading up a long climb to the high point. This is not for beginners. Gnarly, fast descent, followed by rambling farmlands and panoramic views along the Simonsberg Skyline contour trail. Bring your A game.
20km - Good for intermediate trail runners. Includes single track, ascents, descents and enjoyable easy running sections. Take photos.

Included in your entry – a complimentary wine glass and 5 wine tasting coupons (value R220)
Also live music, Craft Gin and Bubbly stands and cool market, with Pizza, Burgers, Coffee, Biltong and Cheeses.
Lucky Draw Prizes at the Finish.
Trails /conservation fee is R50 per runner for the 35km & 20km and R25 for the 12km. Added when you complete your entry.
Celebrate Bastille Day at Plaisir De Merle.
Book for supporters/family by applying it to your race entry at R220 pp.
WE run in all weather, the Market is inside a large heritage building.
