Maxi Race Cape Winelands
Start/Finish venue: Banhoek Chilli Oil, C/O Helshoogte Rd. and Swart St, Kylemore, 7600 -33.91255788431135, 18.942034053250357
Distances: 21km with 510m elevation gain.
Starting time: 7:30am.
Route information 21km: Start at Banhoek Chilli Oil. We will be shuttled 1.3km to "Old Bethlehem gate" where we will start our run from. From there we will run and enjoy some beautiful single track in the Banhoek valley where we will hopefully see the eland herd before we make our way towards Zevenrivieren farm and then all the way up through all the beautiful vineyards to Bartinney Wine farm. From there we will run back down to Banhoek Chilli Oil where our vehicles are parked. Be ready for about 4 amazing stream crossings, mountain views and vineyards. After our run, we will have our lucky draws, pizza and beer.
We will have 3 group leaders guiding you through this amazing 21km route.
Fee: R400, this includes Shuttle, GU energy drinks, gels and water will be supplied. You will also be joined by a few of our 2021 Ambassadors. Banhoek Conservancy fee and a pizza and beer all included. (Vegetarian option available on entering)

Fitness Level Required: Moderate. Should be able to run 21km at a moderate pace. It will not be a race. This will be a guided recce run. This is a social, and fun recce run. We will split into three groups which will be guided by an group leader or elite athlete.
