What do we hope to achieve from this Virtual event?

GBV is a global pandemic! While this event is focused on helping South Africa – our greatest wish would be to replicate this initiative GLOBALLY! We need to start being more proactive! Fight Back SA (NPO 239-623) provides free self-defense classes & pepper sprays to young women & children living in high risk & crime-ridden areas. We need to empower our women to take their safety into their own hands if we are to combat GBV in SA.

A picture speaks a thousand words! We want to bring more attention to the issue by flooding the internet with a montage of images for this event. Visit the website to download and print your banner. Take a photo and share it on social media – the image that gets the most likes, shares and comments will be on the receiving end of a wonderful prize to celebrate your commitment in getting noticed and breaking the silence!
