Route information

Race Start: Jakkalsvlei Winery

Jakkalsvlei is a family owned winery nestled in the beautiful, world famous Garden Route. The Jonker family has been proud owners of Jakkalsvlei since 1972, and today it is farmed by the 3rd generation Jonkers on the farm. The farmland was called Jakkalsvlei because of all the foxes, jackal's and wild cats seen in the mountains surrounding the farmland. Today Jakkalsvlei wines are enjoyed by people all over the Garden Route, including some fine restaurants. You can't help but fall in love with the breathtaking views and the beautiful mountain range surrounding the farm. The perfect stand to a challenging race.

Race finish:  Redberry Farm, George

Redberry Farm was founded by the grace of God in 2000.  Nestled in the Geelhoutboom area with its fertile soul and beautiful Outeniqua’s in the background, it has become the Garden Route’s favourite family destination. Over 200 farm workers make sure that the fields are kept to standard and that the berries are ready to be picked and enjoyed by visitors.  Redberry Farm has become a household name and a dedicated marketing team ensures that this venue is a hive of activity throughout the year. Expect quality products and a quality experience.

Come explore this unique, off the beaten track MTB race and experience true Southern Cape hospitality.
