Dragonfly Tri
The 4 part Dragonfly Tri Summer Trail Series takes place on Groot Constantia Wine Estate with our start/finish venue at Simon's Restaurant.
The vineyards and Constantiaberg mountains offer a breathtaking backdrop to challenge your fitness and come relax and unwind. Join us for a 5 km or 10 km afternoon trail run and grab a delicious beef, chicken or vegan burger included in your entry courtesy of Simon's Restaurant.

The trail runs are on Tuesday early evenings starting at 18:30 (10km) and 18:35 (5km). If you are running the 10km and feel you may take longer, please bring a headlamp.
Online entries and Late entries:
Online entries close at midnight on the Sunday before the event.
Late entries are allowed on the day of the event at Simon's Restaurant but only cash will be accepted.
Race number collection:
Race number collection will be from 17:00 on the day of the event at Simon's Restaurant. To avoid a rush, we recommend you arrive early.
Medals and lucky draw prizes:
There are medals for the men's and women's podium finishers and also fantastic lucky draw prizes afterwards. You have to be there to get your prize so please stick around and enjoy the atmosphere with your friends, family and fellow runners. Bring something warm for the cooler evenings after sunset. Enjoy a glass of Groot Constantia wine or stay for a meal at Simon's after your run.
Routes:
Routes will be different for each event to make sure we challenge new comers and series entrants alike. Distances may vary and not be exactly 5km or 10km as some section may be out of bounds during a particular period due to harvesting etc.
Hydration:
As an environmentally conscious company, we do not encourage or promote the use of single use plastic water bottles / sachets. Please bring your own water bottle or hydration pack.
Do good, look good:
A portion of each entry fee will be donated to Pristine Earth Collective. Plastic is one of the single greatest threats to the health of our natural world and this is precisely why the Pristine Earth Collective was formed. Their mission is to ensure zero plastic going into South African oceans and landfills by 2025. Please visit their stand at the event and hear what each of us can do. Pristine Earth Collective is also providing the marshals that you will see on the route.
Merchandise:
There will be a merchandise store at the event stocking hydration packs, buffs, caps and other items to help you look good at special event discount prices.
