It is end of the year...all you want to do is get away from the office, let your hair down, ride your bike and braai with your buddies....RIGHT!?

So do we!!....

We have designed something different with this in mind.  It is dirt cheap and you will still get to have fun with no worries.

We are doing away with a few time consuming (time is money) and highly expensive services while making sure that you still have all you need.

About the Event

Ry Hom Kwagga is a three day mountain bike event/festival/makietie set in the Agterveld region, Montagu,/Touwsriver area.

About the area

This is the Klein Karoo at it’s best, vast expanses, clean air, the sound and smells of the veld, stars so close you can almost touch it.  Look further and expand your horizons, this allows you to breathe and dream again.

Over the last 20 years this area has gone from sheep farming to guest farms and the game has moved into our area by themselves: gemsbuck, eland, kudu, wildebeest and of course the Quagga/Kwagga has been here, also many of smaller game species.

This mountain bike event has two distances to choose from, the longer distance will include some technical terrain while the shorter distance is just great riding, jeep track that is in good condition.

The trails we chose for this runs through seven different farms ranging from cattle to sheep farms but with an outlook of hospitality and bringing nature back into balance.  On one of the farms, Middelberg Guest Farm you might spot the Kwaggas and if you look closely you will see stripes disappearing from the back side like the original Quagga.

E Bikes are very welcome and seem to love the terrain!

Driekuilen is back because you asked for it!  First time since 2014 we will be traversing Driekuilen's stunning trails again on day three

Cost:  R500 for all three stages....yes you read correctly.

Also book a spitbraai entry for Friday eve @ R200 per head

Event start:  7am for all distances

Day/Late entries available @ R250 from 6am to 6:30am
