The 2022 Tronox Marathon features a 42.2km (Comrades Qualifier) / 21.1km Half Marathon, 10km Run and 5km Fun Run/Walk around the town of Empangeni in KwaZulu-Natal. Medals to all Finishers and Plenty of Spot Prizes to be won.

Costs:

• Marathon - 42.2 km - R300
• Half Marathon - 21.1 km - R150
• 10 km - R100
• 5km - Fun Run R50 (Entries on the day)
• Late Entry Fee (after 21 May) R100

Start Times:

• 42.2km: 06:00am
• 21.1km: 06:30am
• 10km: 07:00am
• 5km: 08:00am

Features and Info:

• Well stocked water tables every 3km
• Toilet and shower facilities available
• Medical personnel available
• Secure Parking and tog bag facilities
• Unlicensed athletes for the 21.1km and 10km
• Racers will need to purchase a temporary license to participate (21.1km R80; 10km R50).
• No temporary licenses will be allowed for the 42.2km.
• No entries except for the 5km will be taken on the day of the event.
• Covid protocols will be adhered to.
