Franschhoek Cross Triathlon - part of the Cross Triathlon Series

The inaugural Franschhoek Cross Triathlon will blow you away. The majestic Franschhoek mountains will be your backdrop as you fight it out against the elements in one of the most spectacular off-road triathlon arenas. Swimming in the mighty Berg River Dam, riding Epic mountain bike trails and running to your heart's content is what awaits you.
The event will have 2 distances, a Full and Sprint course, and you can choose to do it all or as part of a team of 2 or 3. Parking is close to the venue and lots will be on offer to entertain everyone. Various food stalls and a relaxing race village area will round off the day.
Online entries close Thursday 19 January 2023.

Registration will take place from 06:00 at the venue.

Route Recce for Franschhoek Cross Triathlon - 25 Oct 2022
"We knew the routes would be next level, but the best word to describe them would be EPIC. From the backdrop as you jump into the water for your swim, riding your bike around the ever present Matoppie and finishing the run with a smile, this event is fast becoming the new kid on the block."

Distances:
FULL – 1000m Swim, 24km MTB, 8km Trail Run (Wetsuit allowed)
SPRINT – 500m Swim, 15km MTB, 6.7km Trail Run (Wetsuit allowed)
Starting Times, Categories, Entry Fees:
08:00 – FULL – SOLO – R850
08:00 – FULL – TEAM – R900
09:00 – SPRINT – SOLO – R650
09:00 – SPRINT – TEAM – R750
All swimmers need to wear a brightly coloured Swimming Cap.
Venue:
Registration will take place from 06:00 at the venue.
T&C’s:
* Upgrades/downgrades can be done on the day. No partial refunds for downgrades. The difference in price needs to be paid for the upgrade.
* Substitutions allowed for R50 at registration.
