MTB Adventures
Lourensford Classic is on Sunday 16 April 2023. It offers three distances 59km, 40km and 20km. It’s a timed event and also forms part of the Western Cape’s XCM series. See below STRAVA links for route layouts and profiles and RELIVE for scenic visuals, single tracks and Timeless & Endless fun.
Start Times:
59km @ 7h30; 40km @ 7h45 and 20km @8h00
Registration Times:
Early registration on 15 April from 9h00 till 12h00 at the Clay Pigeon Hub, Lourensford Wine Estate
On the day registration from 6h00 till 7h30 at the Clay Pigeon Hub, Lourensford Wine Estate
Water Points:
Classic: 25km and 50km, Maxi: 25km and Light: 10km
All entries include a Burger and chips at the finish.
This event allows e-bikes.

The 20km route (350m climb) is ideal for 8 to 14-year-olds. It consists of 12km open gravel road and 8km easy Channel Trail. This trail runs along a Channel at a slight downward slope, with no technical sections nor steep climbs and is quite scenic.
