On the 9th of July 2023 we will host our 6th event on the Run The Vines calendar for the 2023 Series at Val Du Charron Wine and Leisure Estate near Wellington. The original planned date was the 3rd of June but the event was postponed due to the bad weather that was predicted for the weekend.

With its unmistakable mountain views, the award-winning Val du Charron Wine and Leisure Estate is situated in the picturesque Bovlei, ten minutes from the town of Wellington and under an hour’s drive from Cape Town. With a history of winemaking dating back to 1699 Val du Charron’s wines are available worldwide but are best enjoyed surrounded by the vineyards themselves at one of the Estate’s restaurants or from your own balcony at the 4 star Guesthouse or 5 star Coach house suite.

With new sponsors involved such as First Ascent and 32Gi the 2023 series promises to be as fun filled and challenging as always.

Run The Vines is a Trail Run series for the whole family. Young and old can enter and it is suitable for all fitness levels. Walkers are welcome on the 3km, 5km and 10km distances. Please do not walk the 17km distance.

Adult accompanying a child on 3km  -  R80 

5km Run The Vines  -  R130  - Start: 8:45

10km Run The Vines - R150 - Start: 8:30

17km Run The Vines - R170 - Start: 8:00

R50 Late entry fee.

All unpaid entries will be removed after 3 days.

Waterpoints will be available. It is however always advised to be self-sufficient when it comes to hydration when you run.

Medals for all. 

Please do not leave any valuables in your car. You can leave it at registration.

Come join us for a fun day out with the family. The Pizza Vista restaurant will be open. Make sure to book a table should you wish to sit down for breakfast or lunch.
