The race village offers a relaxing atmosphere with comfortable seating where runners can relax during the day and enjoying magnificent views! Leave the village only for your run, as everything is catered for inside the village for the entire weekend!

Route:
Dumbe Trail Run 2023 will have two options to choose from according to your running abilities:
The Long Run (Day 1: 20km and Day 2: 15 km) and the Short Run (Day 1: 12km and Day 2: 15km).
The first day of running is a good blend of forest sections and single track. Running along the escarp, boasting spectacular views of KZN the drop-down the historic Retief Pass begins into the Valley. The climb ends soon enough running along the escarp once again with its breathtaking views before reaching the Kaalvoet Vrou Monument. After taking a selfie with arguably one of the toughest ladies in the history of our country, it is a short stretch home to the race village where warm hospitality awaits!
The second day of running will certainly not disappoint, leading runners along breathtaking paths. Stunning panoramic views of the Northern Drakensberg and the Amphitheatre will continue to mesmerize runners as they work their way back to the race village.
