21.1Km & 10Km are COCA-COLA ROAD RUNNING LEAGUE RACES  

LAST LEAGUE RACE ON THE WPA RACE CALENDAR FOR 2023

Voet of the Wine is back!! And it is the last League Race on the 2023 WPA Racing Calendar.

This is a scenic route. Not only will you be afforded the opportunity to get your club to the top of the league ladder, but you'll be enjoying the panoramic views of Table Mountain, Table Bay and False Bay as you pass through the Zevenwacht Wine Estate, situated on the Stellenbosch Wine Route.

All distances start and finish at Zevenwacht Mall on the corner of Polkadraai & Van Riebeeck Roads. On arrival at the Mall you will be greeted by our friendly marshals who will direct you to the secure parking bays inside the fenced Mall area. There will be AMPLE FREE PARKING as well as sufficient toilet facilities. As part of our commitment to our Muslim friends, we always provide a PRAYER ROOM facility at the venue.

Togbag facilities will be available.

You will notice the branding on our Goody Bags. We are strongly opposed to Gender-based violence and we want to use this event not just to promote physical health, but also emotional health, hence creating awareness around gender-based violence.  

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, and runs until 10 December.  As a running club we want to use this opportunity to create awareness around this scourge.  Awareness-raising is key to spreading the clear message of zero tolerance of all forms of violence against women and girls. Please support us by supporting the Hope House Counselling Service. 

Start and Cut-off times.

Refreshment stations will be available every 4km on the 21.1km and 10km routes and 1 station available on the 5km route. 

This is a plastic free event. #Runclean. We encourage you to carry your own water bottle.

Prize Giving

Prize giving for the 10km will start at 09h15, followed by the 21.1km prize giving and thereafter the lucky draws for all distances.

All finishers will receive a medal.

There are plenty of spot prizes, and one lucky person stands the chance of walking off with a 42" TV.

You have to be present to be eligible for a lucky draw prize.
