Join us for our 3rd pet friendly, 2-day trail run at Affi Lande in Fouriesburg (Free State) at Affi Lande Boutique Guest Farm.

CHALLENGE OPTIONS:

Rebel Route Challenge (pet friendly) - R500:

[Under 13yrs and over 60yrs - R400]

Saturday - 10km

Sunday - 5km

Cradle Rock Challenge (Pet friendly) - R560

[No under 13yrs allowed. Over 60yrs - R460]

Saturday - 15km

Sunday - 10km

Golden Pass Challenge (NOT pet friendly) - R620:

[No under 13yrs allowed. Over 60yrs - R500]

Saturday - 21km

Sunday - 15km

Challenge entrants will receive their event item during registration at the venue on race weekend.

SINGLE DAY ENTRY OPTIONS:  

Saturday: 5km (R150), 10km (R180), 15km (R200) or 21km (R220)

Sunday: 5km (R150), 10km (R180) or 15km (R200)

Single day entries do not quality for the event item or the special event medal.  However, single day medals will be awarded.

Earn Discovery Vitality points as well for each day’s distance completed.

**** IMPORTANT PET FRIENDLY ARRANGEMENTS AND RULES ****

Please note this venue is not a pet friendly venue in general.  

It is a special arrangement that was made FOR THIS WEEKEND ONLY to allow our trail runners/walkers to come and enjoy this beautiful landscape with their four-legged friends as well.  

Very strict rules will be applied during the weekend, as all dogs will have to be kept on leash at all time due to this venue being a working cattle farm.  

Non-adherence to this rule will be subjected to a R1 000 fine and you might be requested to leave the establishment without any refunds.

PET FRIENDLY RULES: 

• Dogs are welcome on the 5km, 10km and 15km routes only.  
• Please note that it is STRICTLY ON LEASH, due to all the farm being a working cattle farm.
• Only dogs taking part in the trail run may be brought to the venue.
• There won't be people available to look after your dog while you are out on the trails.
• The 21km is strictly NOT PET FRIENDLY.  No exceptions will be made on this.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

• The weekend will be filled with lots of trail running options, food, drinks, games and music to keep everyone entertained. 
• Saturday evening there will be a Themed Party available. with music and lucky draws,  so make sure to join us for this great night as well. Make sure to book this in advance when entering online, this is not included in the entry fee.  
• Online entries for the 2-day trail run, up until 16 September 2024,  receive a Revolution Trails Event Item. 
• Online entries close on 17 October 2024.
• Single day entries will still be available at the venue on Friday night during registration as well as on Saturday and Sunday mornings during registration.
• All entrants will receive a specifically designed medal at the end of the two days.
• The top 3 overall male and female finishers for each of the 3 challenges will also receive a special medal during the awards ceremony on Sunday morning.
• These 3 finishers will be determined based on the results of the 1st and 2nd day times. 
• Single day entrants do not qualify for this.
• There will be 3 different challenges to choose from of which two will be pet friendly.

ACCOMMODATION:

Entry fee does not include accommodation.  To book your accommodation at the Affi Lande Boutique Guest Farm we recommend securing your accommodation for the weekend as soon as possible, before they are fully booked.  There will be a lot of accommodation available at various venues around the hosting venue as well which is all around 5km away.  To see a list of recommended accommodation, you can have a look at the event website at:  https://www.revolutiontrails.co.za/affi-lande-stage-run

WEEKEND SCHEDULE AND TIMES:

Friday - 25 October 2024:

• Registration opens at 16h00 till 20h00 for collection of timing cards.
• The venue will have drinks available at your own cost.

Saturday - 26 October 2024:

• Late registration and on-the-day entries will be open between 06h00 till 06h50
• Race briefing will be held at 06h50
• The 21km entrants will start at 07h00
• The 15km entrants will start at 07h05
• All other distances entrants will start at 07h10
• Food and drinks will be available at the venue for the whole day.
• Themed party at the venue will start at 19h00

Sunday - 27 October 2024:

• On-the-day entries and upgrades/downgrades will be open between 06h00 till 06h50
• Race briefing will be held at 06h50
• The 15km entrants will start at 07h00
• All other distance entrants will start at 07h05
• Overall prize giving ceremony will take place from 10h30 till 11h00
• Stage run finishers can collect their medals once they have completed their distance at the finish line and have a photo taken as well.
