SOME SAY MTB IS EASY... OTHER SAY MOUNTAIN BIKERS LIE. ALL WE KNOW IS THAT YOU ARE IN FOR A HELL OF A RIDE! This race is challenging yet rewarding. Also a great start for the beginner to get more experience. Breathtaking mountain bike tracks. This route starts at the Faerie Glen Picnic site at Westfalia into plantations. Plenty of jeep and single track. Ample parking at the venue. Perfect weather for that time of the year. Water points every 10/15km. This race has been a Limpopo qualifier for the past approximately 10 years and is one race on the Mtb calendar that attracts plenty of riders from all over.

Please take note of the following:
1) The 15km distance is intended for Nippers and Sprog boys and girls. Podiums will only be awarded for Nippers and Sprogs. All other riders taking part in this race will not qualify for any prices.
2) The 35km-50km is for youth and junior men and women to qualify for provincial colours. There will also be an A-Batch for riders that are competing in the correct age category for this distance. The riders need to have a valid CSA Membership and should be in good standing with their club. Riders that are making use of a day licence that are in the correct age category can compete in Batch A and will only qualify for the prizes on the day. The B-Batch is a fun ride and only overall winners’ male and female will be awarded with an inexpensive acknowledgment of participation.
3) the 70km is for Elite, Sub-veteran, Veteran, Master, and GrandMaster men and women to qualify for provincial colours.
A CSA Day License is required for the 70km, 50km and 35km MTB race only and can be purchased with your race entry for R50. Please note riders with day licences will not be awarded points towards the series.
Day licence riders: the riders that take out day licences will not be awarded points towards the series.
Miami Magoebaskloof MTB is a Cycling South Africa (CSA) Sanctioned event and will be run according to CSA rules.
CSA enforces minimum age restrictions based on race distances for all sanctioned MTB events.
To avoid disappointment at registration, please only select a race distance that you are allowed to participate in.
Your age is based on the age you will be on 31 December of that year.
Please note – gravel bikes are not permitted as per CSA rules.
