Eriocephalus africanus L./Wild Rosemary or Kapbokbos the name was chosen for this very special shrub that grows where the run is held and you will recognize it by its sweet vanilla smell.
Terrain: hilly single track with magnificent views of the Langeberg mountain range.
The event is set on stunning trails with magnificent views and scenery, this is our 2nd year and we have added more views and single track to the now 15km trail run.
The fun run has been shortened to 5.6km by cutting out unnecessary gravel and keeping the single track.
The run is organized by Patti van Dyk, a nature guide of profession and an experienced ultra runner, with big event names such as Comrades and Two Oceans behind her name. Patti has also tapped into trail running the last few years.

Cut off: 3 hours
Cost: R300 (late entries additional R50)
Start: 6:30 am
Distance: 5.6 km
Cost: R150 (late entries additional R50)
Start time: 7 am
Prize giving: 1pm
Registration: from Friday 3pm to Saturday eve
Late entries: Sunday 5:30 am to 6:00 am

| Route information | Glen Eden Farm is a small holding of 50 hectares situated on famous Route 62, just 14 km from the charming town of Montagu. With 5 luxury cottages, 3 unique glamping options and a small upmarket camping site we have something to offer everyone. All properties have their own wood fired hot tub, cottages also have a splash pool, each property has free, unlimited WIFI, even the camping site! We have an archery range, Archers of Eden available plus kayaking, a touch farm, hiking, and fishing. Beaney Peanut is our licensed kiosk bar and serves Bootlegger coffee and gourmet pizzas. |
