The Oak Valley Extreme Trail Run offers trail runners an opportunity to run on the Oak Valley trails that are otherwise exclusively for mountain bikes. Located in the picturesque Elgin Valley, known for its orchards, vineyards and undulating countryside, participants get to immerse themselves in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom and Groenland mountains.
This event marks the only time in the year that the full black route (34km long route) will be closed for mountain bikers and exclusively opened for trail runners, making the Oak Valley Extreme a standout annual event in the region.
