The Superspar Trail Run OR MTB is part of the 19th annual St Francis Sport Summer Series from 15 December till 3 January 2026 in St Francis Bay and surrounds.

The event will take place on the Eskom Conservation Reserve on the outskirts of St Francis Bay, allowing for a more forgiving route with no loops to repeat.  Access to the race is through the Dune Ridge Country House gate at the top of Tarragona Avenue.  For the second year this race wears a new jacket - you can choose between the trail run OR a short MTB route, both using their own routes with no interaction between the disciplines.  

You can also partner with a buddy and your combined times will give you a spot on the teams leaderboard!  This format allows family members of all walks of life and fitness levels to enjoy a morning out in nature.  Team members must enter individually and at the registration table, tell the officers who are teaming up with whom.

The 5km run will complete a loop on jeep track, while the 10km will also include a short dune field and coastal forest, while the MTB legs includes mainly jeep track and some grass in the opposite direction.  No more hills!

- a series entry of R1000 will give you individual access to all 10 events.  

-  a short prize giving will be held after the event where the top 3 male and female athletes will receive medals, and full results will be announced on social media and posted a few hours after the event;
