Registration: Friday 12pm until 4pm & Saturday 10am to 3pm at Westown. 

• Early entries close on the 30^th September (Includes Goodie Bags and Race Apparel)
• Late Race entries close on the Tuesday the 14^th October (Same price but no goodie bag or race apparel)
• Late entries may be available on Friday & Saturday at registration.

Get ready for a new MTB adventure at the NEW Balwin Properties WILD RIDE starting and finishing at the exciting new Westown, precinct in Shongweni. 

Set in the stunning upper-highway countryside, this “on your door-step” MTB event will give you and the family and fun, fast and challenging mountain biking experience, over the rolling sugar cane trailers around Westown. This event reward you with some of the most breathtaking views the area has to offer. This event is open to families, friends and adventure seekers alike. Rides will navigate through forests, across rugged terrain, and along scenic rolling hills, all while experiencing the perfect blend of nature’s beauty and adrenaline-pumping challenges. 

Whether you are an experienced trail runner or a passionate beginner, this event is designed to be an “MUST DO” event of fun, endurance and beauty. 

MTB Races on offer: 

1. 35km Cactus: (Min age - 15yrs old)
2. 18km Tumbleweed (Min age - 8yrs old)
3.  8km Colt (Kids under 8yrs to be accompanied by and Adult)

Distances are approximates, exact distances will be given closer to race day. 

MTB Entry Fees: 

1. 38km Cactus: R350.00 (Late entries are the same price but no goodie bag)
2. 18km Tumbleweed: R220.00 (Late entries are the same price but no goodie bag)
3.  8km Colt: R160.00 (Late entries are the same price but no goodie bag)
