We’re back — and it’s time to grind!

CoalDust, the vibrant Run and Cycle club from Emalahleni/Witbank, is thrilled to bring you the 3rd edition of the Balmoral Dust Grinder in 2025 — and this year, we’re going even further, faster, and dustier!

Join us at Balmoral Primary School for a full day of adventure, adrenaline, and small-town charm. We've expanded the race distances to offer something for every kind of rider:

🚴‍♂️ 90 km – The ultimate test of endurance and grit
🚴‍♂️ 60 km – A serious challenge with scenic rewards
🚴 30 km – Ride strong, ride fast
🚴‍♀️ 17 km – Great for beginners and those looking to push their pace
🚶 5 km Fun Ride – Easy, fun, and perfect for families (no license needed!)

💰 Entry Fees:

• 5 km Fun Ride – R50 (no cycle license required)

• 17 km – R200

• 30 km – R300

• 60 km – R400

• 90 km – R500

• Temporary Cycle Race License (if needed) – R50

The route starts and ends at the school, following the railroad and winding through open farm roads with scenic Highveld views. Well-stocked water points along the way will keep you hydrated and motivated.
