Lace up your trail shoes for an unforgettable day of fresh Karoo air, open horizons, and good vibes! Join us for the Lifestyle Challenge Karoo Trail Run hosted by Hannelie Bekker on Saturday, 11 October 2025, as part of the vibrant Vier Seisoene Fees weekend in Loxton.

Biesiespoort is a fourth-generation working sheep farm with deep roots in the Loxton community. Its rich history, open landscapes, and warm Karoo hospitality make it the perfect setting for a trail run.

🏃‍♀️ Trail Distances:

5km Fun Run | Start: 07:00 @ R150 per person

A gentle, scenic loop perfect for beginners, families, and walkers. Enjoy the beauty of the Karoo veld under the rising sun.

9.5km Challenge | Start: 07:00 @ R190 per person

This moderate, flat route offers sweeping views and a taste of the trail running spirit. It is ideal for those looking to push themselves a bit further.

24.7km Adventure Run | Start: 06:00 @ R475 per person

For seasoned trail lovers, this longer route takes you deep into the heart of Besiespoort’s flat but striking landscape. Headlamps are recommended for the early start.

🏕️ Stay the Weekend:

Camping & Accommodation available at Biesiespoort Guest Farm – R150 per person per night for camping (contact Guest Farm for additional accommodation prices)

Additional accommodation at the historic Melton Wold Guest Farm (contact the guest farm for prices)

Runners must bring their hydration packs. Water refill stations will be spaced along the longer routes.
