Welcome to the newest member of our trail running family!
Join us for the inaugural Erdvark Trail Run – a 2-day trail running weekend that will take you into the heart of the Karoo and the untamed beauty of the Nuweveld Mountains. This is more than a race; it’s a complete escape into rugged landscapes, panoramic views, and the wild spirit of the Karoo.

Route Descriptions

Day 1 – Saturday (24 km / 14 km)

• 24 km: A challenging climb around Tafelkop (±650m elevation) with sweeping views.
• 14 km: A gentler route with ±280m elevation, lower contours, and game/livestock sightings.

Day 2 – Sunday (17 km / 7 km)

• 17 km: ±380m elevation through Rietvlei and dry riverbeds back to the race village.
• 7 km: Easier trail (±140m elevation) through Holsloot Camp and along a riverbed.
