The Grand Finale: Mossel Bay Cross Triathlon 2025
Join us for the epic conclusion of the Triathlon X Series 2025 at the breathtaking coast of Mossel Bay! As the final chapter in this thrilling three-part series, this event is more than just a race — it’s a celebration.

Expect a vibrant festival atmosphere filled with live entertainment, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a whole lot of triathlon spirit — perfect for athletes and families alike, before, during, and after the action.

This off-road triathlon invites athletes of all levels to experience the best Mossel Bay has to offer:

• Swim: Starting at 8 a.m. at Santos Beach for a multi-loop swim extravaganza.
• Transition 1 (T1): Athletes will then run along the beach up the stairs back to T1 (Race Village).
• Bike: From T1, the bike leg begins, taking participants along the paved railway track towards De Bakke and into the exciting urban and beautiful off-road loop back to T1.
• Transition 2 (T2): Athletes return to the race village to start the run.
• Run: The run follows George Road and then back via the railway road to the finish line at the race village.

At the finish line, participants will be welcomed with amedal and the festive atmosphere of cheering spectators, food, drinks, and live entertainment.

2025 EVENTS TO ENTER:
All race distances offer relay team options, allowing 2 or 3 athletes to compete together as a team.

If the athlete is not in possession of a valid TSA license, they need to buy a TSA Temp License (R134 - Standard / R55 - Sprint//Super Sprint)

• SWIMMING will be at Santos Beach parallel to the coastline.
• CYCLING will be on the road, jeep track, and single track following an urban off-road route through Mossel Bay.
• RUNNING will be from Santos Beach past De Bakke and back.

Relay Teams:
 A triathlon relay team consists of two or three members, with each participant completing one or two segments of the race. Teams can include male, female, or mixed-gender participants. The relay follows the same course as the solo competitors, with transitions between team members occurring in the designated transition zone.

ALL RELAY TEAM MEMBERS REQUIRE A TSA LICENCE.

Relay options are available for all distances in the Mossel Bay Triathlon X. Parents and children teams can participate in the distance dictated by the age of the youngest team member.
During registration on Entry Ninja, select your desired race distance name followed by the "Team" option, and add your teammates during the online registration process. The displayed price is per participant.

Rules:

• Runners must wear race numbers visible at all times.
• Cyclists must wear cycling helmets.
• Cyclists take note: There are no road closures, obey all traffic rules and take care of normal road traffic.
• TSA Sanctioned Event - if the athlete is not in possession of a valid TSA license, they need to buy a TSA Temp License (R134 - Standard / R55 - Sprint//Super Sprint)
• Triathlon Licences: All athletes must either have an annual TSA licence or purchase a Temporary TSA DAY Licence, which will be valid for the event only.

We would suggest buying an annual Triathlon SA licence from TSA if you plan to do multiple race events in 2025. It is cheaper and easier for each event. Costs are: R381 for seniors and R330 for Juniors. You can buy your annual licence here: https://triathlonsa.co.za/registration/

Online entry portal closes on Wednesday before each event at midnight.
