TERRAIN:

A wine estate at the foot of the of the Simonsberg Mountain between Paarl and Franschhoek.  Areas of vineyards interspersed with areas of steep slopes as well as thick fynbos.  A network of farm roads, tracks and paths cover the area.  Leg cover is recommended if you decide not to stick to the paths.

COURSES:

90 minute Rogaine
Visit as many controls as you can within a set time limit, following your own route and accumulating points for each control visited. The points vary, with the most difficult controls worth the most points. Make sure you return within the time limit else there are penalties for being late. You do not need to visit each control. This is why navigation, route planning and strategy are so important in this format of the sport.
Please note that strictly no dogs are allowed at this event
