NEUTRAL ZONE
Due to ongoing roadworks on the Cango Caves Road (R328):
- As a result of the stop/go that is in place, a neutral zone of approximately 5kms will be in effect in a section of the R328 road between WP3 and WP4.
- Riders will be given timing armbands that they will need to "tag in and tag out" of the neutral zone
- There will be well marked Timing Pods for tagging in and out of the Neutral Zone and there will be staff on hand to assist, but the Pod will show a green light if correctly tagged.
- The TAG IN Pod will be just before WP3 - The Waterpoint will be inside the Neutral Zone.
- There is no time limit for the neutral zone
It is the Riders' responsibility to tag themselves in and out of the neutral zone in order to enjoy the time deduction
SAFTEY NOTICE:
ON THE SWARTBERG PASS DESCENT: YOU HAVE TO KEEP TO THE FAR LEFT-HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD.
