Join Greyton Mountain Bike Club on Saturday, 19 September 2026, for an adrenaline-pumping adventure at The Canola Roller—your ticket to gravel riding through the breathtaking springtime views of the Overberg and the Riviersonderend Mountains.
Kicking off in the charming village of Greyton, The Canola Roller offers riders four distance options: 130 km, 80 km, 50km and 30 km.
The 130 km gravel grind features 1,700 m of climbing, with 95% of the route on gravel roads, including exclusive access to private farm tracks.
Expect a thrilling ride that includes everything from fast, hard-packed rolling hills to demanding technical climbs and exhilarating downhill sections. Fear not—every kilometer of this epic journey is conquerable on a gravel bike, promising an unforgettable experience for every passionate gravel grinder out there. For 2026 we have added strategically positioned extra water point.
Also available is a challenging, non-technical yet equally stunning 80 km route with 990 m of elevation, plus a new 50km route with 400m of elevation that caters for riders over the age of 15 as well as a family-friendly 30 km route, featuring 300 m of elevation, perfect for riders over the age of 13.

A CAUSE WORTH RIDING FOR!
Fifty percent of the proceeds raised go towards the Greyton MTB Juniors Club and fifty percent go to maintaining and enhancing our surrounding mountain bike and gravel trail network.
