RACE RULES:
- The race is run according to the WA/ASA and LIMA rules
- Age restriction: (5km – minimum age 9 yrs / 10km – minimum age 15 years / 21.1km – minimum age 16 years)
- Valid 2026 permanent license number shall be worn on the front and back of the upper body clothing
- Unlicensed athletes shall wear a valid 2026 temporary license number on the front of the upper body clothing. Should there be special race numbers, such numbers shall be worn on the front and the temporary license number will the move to the back.
- Should an athlete want to compete for an age category prize, such athlete must wear numerical age category tag clearly visible on the front and the back of the upper body clothing.
- Junior athletes shall display a “J” as required. (Proof of age {ID or Passport})
- Athletes winning prizes for fun runs shall be randomly selected by lucky draw.
- All athletes indemnify the race organizers, sponsors, national and provincial athletics associations, against any claim of whatsoever nature, which may arise due to participation in the competition. (Athletes participate at own risk)
- Strollers can participate in the 5km fun walk
- No animals will be allowed on the route.
- No I-Pods, headphones or portable radios are allowed.
- An athlete may appeal against the results in writing within 30 minutes after the results were officially announced. A deposit of R500 is required for such an action. The deposit is payable to the event manager. The protest fee WILL be forfeited if the appeal is unsuccessful.
