The Standerton Goldi 4-in-1 has become a proud tradition on the local running calendar, known for its warm hospitality, well organised routes, and strong community spirit. Year after year, the event brings together runners from across Mpumalanga and beyond, offering a race experience that is both competitive and welcoming.

With four distance options 42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 km, and a Fun Run the Goldi 4-in-1 caters for everyone, from serious athletes chasing big goals to families and first-time runners looking to enjoy a healthy day out. The streets of Standerton come alive with energy and support as participants take on the challenge and celebrate the joy of running

Race Rules:

1. Referees’ decision is final.

2. Obey all Traffic Officials and Race Marshals.

3. The race will be run according to the rules of ASA, WA (World Athletics) & AMPU House rules.

4. No seconding will be allowed. No pacing of any kind.

5. Ages:

   • 10km: 14 years

   • 21.1km: 16 years

   • 42.2km: 20 years or older on the day of the race

6. Proof of age (ID) must be produced upon request on race day.

7. All athletes participate at their own risk.

8. Registered athletes must wear full club colours.

9. 2026 licence numbers must be displayed on the front and back of the vest.

10. Temporary licence must be worn on the front of the vest.

11. Temporary licence tear-off slip must be completed and handed back to the organizer immediately.

12. Age category ID tags must be clearly displayed for the duration of the event (front and back) by athletes competing for category prizes, and must be fixed on all four corners and not covered by a rain jacket or any shirt.

13. ASA licence numbers may not be covered by any paper race numbers / race bibs.

14. Prize giving will take place at the finish after the main race.

15. Any foreign athlete must have a confirmation letter or permit from their Sport Federation.

16. A 12% levy on entry fees must be paid over to Athletics Mpumalanga by the race organizer.

17. No littering — please make use of waste boxes along the route.

18. All participants acknowledge that photographs may be taken and used on social media.

19. For the 42.2km race, there will be a cut-off at the halfway mark of 3 hours. Runners not reaching halfway by 3 hours will be picked up and transported back to the finish.
