Join us for the 19th staging of the Magalies Adventure, presented by Stellantis South Africa, taking place at Galloway Gardens, alongside the iconic Black Horse Brewery just outside Magaliesburg, on Sunday, 29 November 2026.
And the good news? The event once again forms part of the legendary annual Black Horse Brewery Christmas Market— making it the perfect day out for riders, runners, friends and family alike. Bring the whole crew along to enjoy the festive atmosphere after your ride or run. Shower facilities will also be available at the venue.
This year, our cycling offering once again includes both Gravel/ MTB and Trail Running/ Walking events, delivering some of the best riding the Magalies has to offer.
The Magalies Adventure is the final leg of the Stellantis Adventure Series, and with series titles on the line, there’s plenty to race for. The overall male and female series winners will each walk away with a whopping R100,000 cash prize, setting the stage for an unforgettable showdown in the Magaliesberg.

The Grand Finale of the Stellantis Adventure Series
But there’s even more at stake in 2026.
The Magalies Adventure isn’t just another race—it’s the grand finale of the 2026 Stellantis Adventure Series. After five incredible events across Gauteng, this is where the champions will be crowned.
With R350,000 in total series prize money up for grabs, every second counts as South Africa’s top gravel and MTB riders battle it out for series glory. At the end of the day, the overall male and female Stellantis Adventure Series champions will each take home a staggering R100,000 cash prize, making this one of the richest amateur cycling series in the country.
Whether you’re racing for the podium, or simply looking to conquer the legendary Magalies routes, there will be an incredible atmosphere as the 2026 champions are crowned.

Magalies Adventure – 100km
- Early Bird – R700 – (Enter and pay before 31 October)
- Normal Entry – R750 (Enter and pay before 15 November)
- Late Entry – R850 (Enter and pay from 16 November)
Magalies Challenge – 65km
- Early Bird – R500 – (Enter and pay before 31 October)
- Normal Entry – R550 (Enter and pay before 15 November)
- Late Entry – R600 (Enter and pay from 16 November)
Mini Magalies – 45km
- Early Bird – R400 – (Enter and pay before 31 October)
- Normal Entry – R450 (Enter and pay before 15 November)
- Late Entry – R500 (Enter and pay from 16 November)
Trail Run/ Walk

10km - R220
15km - R270
- Free entry for kids aged 7 and under for the 5km Enter on the Day
This is a Pre-Entry Event and the entry closing date is on Sunday the 22nd of November. Entries are limited, so we suggest you go online today and reserve your place.
Please note that the last day to qualify for an event t-shirt is Sunday the 15th of November. (You need to have booked and paid for your entry by this date)
