Attention all swim warriors! 

The Quest Swim Series Event #2 at Prime View on Saturday, 11 April 2026 at PRIMEVIEW.

Whether you glide like a dolphin or splash like a playful hippo, this is your moment to test your speed, stamina, and style (or lack thereof!). 

Expect laughter, cheers, and a healthy dose of friendly competition as you race across the sparkling waters. 

Grab your goggles, rally your swim buddies, and make waves—because this isn’t just practice, it’s your epic Midmar warm-up adventure! 

Don’t miss it!

You’ll get to choose between three awesome distances:

• 800m Splash Quest — perfect for juniors, beginners, and anyone wanting a fast, confidence-building swim. (MIN AGE 8 years)
• 1.6km Classic Quest — this will test your stamina, suited for above-average swimmers looking to test their ability. 2 laps of 800m. Ozzie Exit to start 2nd lap (MIN AGE 10 years)
• 2.4km Enduro Quest - This long distance swim will push your endurance and stamina. It will have a Ozzie exit as you start the 2nd and 3rd lap. (MIN AGE 15yrs) 

Expect a safe, well-managed event, with experienced lifeguards, clear course routes, and a super supportive vibe. And yes — there will be prizes for overall top 3 race winners, plus category podiums will be called up on stage for well-deserved recognition and celebration!

SPECTATOR FRIENDLY:

All swim routes are spectator friendly, with an awesome Ozzie exit of 30m before starting the next lap for the 1600m Classic and the 2400m Enduro Races. These Ozzie Exits make the races spectator friendly and less daunting for swimmers to push through the distance. 

Splash Event - 800m Swimming ( 1 x Lap of 800m / Start time 7:30 AM ) - MINIMUM AGE IS 8 YRS : 

• Splash Pre-Entry Fee from Opening till 26^th March 2026 - R200.00 per entry
• Splash Late Entry Fee from 27^th March till 09^th April - R250.00 (online portal closes)
• Splash On the Day Entry Fee (11 April) - R300.00 

Classic Event - 1600m Swimming ( 2 x Laps of 800m / Start time 8:05 AM ) - MINIMUM AGE IS 10 YRS : 

• Classic Pre-Entry Fee from Opening till 26^th March 2026 - R300.00 per entry 
• Classic Late Entry Fee from 27^th March till 09^th April - R350.00 (online portal closes)
• Classic On the Day Entry Fee (11 April) - R400.00  

Enduro Event - 2400m Swimming (3 laps of 800m / START TIME 8:15 AM ) - MINIMUM AGE IS 15 YRS : 

• Classic Pre-Entry Fee from Opening till 26^th March 2026  - R350.00 per entry
• Classic Late Entry Fee from 27^th March till 09^th April - R400.00  (online portal closes)
• Classic On the Day Entry Fee (11 April) - R450.00   

Swim Aid buoys ARE allowed for all swimmers. 

All Swimmers to please bring their own brightly coloured swim caps.

Wetsuits will be mandatory if the water temp is 16deg or below. 

Wesuits are optional if the water temp is between 16deg and 21deg

Wetsuits will not be allowed is the water temp is 22deg or above. 

No fins, webbed gloves or other swim enhancing items are allowed. 

Prizes will be allocated to the top 3 male and female in each race. 

10 year age category winners will be called up for recognition.

All Finishers get a Ice cold Finishers drink and a Medal. 

Starting Times (Subject to change): 

• Splash: 7:30am (1 lap of 800m) 
• Classic: 8:05am (2 lap of 800m)
• Enduro: 8:15am (3 laps of 800m)
