WELCOME TO SOUTH AFRICAS MOST DIVERSE STAGE RACE
The 2027 edition of the M&G Investments PE PLETT is taking on a slightly different format. Our riders will start their journey from St Francis Links Golf Course, St Francis Bay, following over 280 kms along the famous Garden Route and finishing 4 days later in Natures Valley.
For 2027 we have a whole new Day 1 lined up. Once again, we will start from St Francis Links, nestled in the tranquil holiday town of St Francis Bay. From here, we will head towards Fynbos Ridge Golf Estate, a brand new overnight stop for 2027, promising to create a whole new Day 1 and 2.
Whether you’re a dedicated racer or a relaxed rider, this is a spectacular journey you shouldn’t miss. Entries are limited to 250 riders for our two batches, being “The Ride” and “The Tour“. This prestigious event has sold out for the last 8 years. We also have a new pricing structure, which means the earlier you enter, the more you save as we build up to South Africa’s most diverse stage race. "The Tour" batch will set off 15 minutes after "The Ride" For the 2027 edition, we have multiple entry options, pick what suits you best!
Any entries after 30 November 2026 and those who aren't fully paid by 30 November 2026, will not be eligible for a race pack.

Riders can enter mixed teams in terms of E-Bikes and traditional bikes, making up a Hybrid Team.

Normal entries include 3 nights luxury tent (No Power In Tents) accommodation (Thur/Fri/Sat) – this includes beds, bedding, side table & chairs – Teams share a tent, Solo's get their own tent.
All meals (Lunch & Supper on Thursday; Breakfast, Lunch & Supper on Friday & Saturday ; Breakfast & Lunch on Sunday)
Free SAB Beer & Doolhof Wine in Race Village
A village jam-packed with great grub, yoga & stretch classes, live entertainment.
Options to add extras like massages, bike wash & bike mechanics.
