| Route information | Platrand Lodge, located at Fourieskraal Farm, offers visitors a tranquil getaway surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Below are the directions from three major cities: Durban, Bloemfontein, and Johannesburg. From Durban: 1. Start on the N3: Begin your journey on the N3 highway heading west. 2. Take the N1 North: Merge onto the N1 highway towards Johannesburg. 3. Continue to the R54: Take the exit toward the R54, following signs for Heidelburg. 4. Via R62: Procced on the R54 until you merge onto the R62. 5. Arrival: Follow the R62 until you reach the turnoff for Fourieskraal Farm. Look for the signs to Platrand Lodge. From Bloemfontein: 1. N1 South: Start on the N1 highway heading south towards Gariep Dam. 2. Take the exit for the R57: Follow signs for the R57 towards Trompsburg. 3. Merging onto the N1: After Trompsburg, reconnect with the N1 southbound. 4. Final Route: Continue south on the N1 until you see the signs for the R62 direction. Follow the R62 until you find the turnoff for Fourieskraal Farm. From Johannesburg: 1. N1 South: Begin on the N1 highway heading towards Pretoria. 2. Continue towards the R44: Follow signs for the R44 and merge onto that road. 3. Join the R62: From the R44, take the R60 exit and then merge onto the R62. 4. Final Stretch: Follow the R62 westbound toward Fourieskraal Farm, looking for signs directing you to Platrand Lodge.
