Rondebosch Boys' Preparatory School in conjunction with RSAWEB is excited to host the second Junior School Southern Suburbs School Mountain Bike League race of the year on the 20 June 2026. Boys and Girls are welcome.  

All Funds raised from the event will go to funding the new Rondebosch School's MTB track.

Location : Rondebosch Fields - Top rugby fields (Mini Meadows) below Western Province Cricket Club.

When : 20 June 2026, from 1pm

Grades : 1 - 7

Age Groups : 3 (Ages 7-8, 9-10 and 11-13) Age is based off the age of your kid at the end of the year (i.e. age on the 31 Dec 2026)

Distances : 3.5-6.3km

Dress code : School colours

Cost : R100 per rider

Pre Prep Fun Ride

Age Groups : Under 7  at the end of the year (i.e. age on the 31 Dec 2026)

Distances : 1.2km ride on the single track and around the field ( parents can accompany kids on foot)

Cost : No charge

This is not a timed event. Riders do not need a number board.

• Balance bikes skills area hosted by GoGo Bikes
• General skills area hosted by A-Line and Eugene Elliot MTB coaches

Technical ability: Able to ride a bike without kid's training wheels
