Paarl Mountain Bike Challenge

The Paarl Mountain Bike Challenge takes place on Sunday, 27 September, as the finale of the Paarl Adventure Festival, which runs from 24 to 27 September.
Celebrate Spring and the Heritage Day Long weekend in Paarl with world-renowned trails, family-friendly facilities, spectacular venues, and a full program of adventure events.
Spice Route Destination will serve as the main race village for the weekend, with riders and visitors also enjoying the views, features, and hospitality of venues across Paarl. Together, they showcase why the town is becoming one of South Africa’s leading wellness and adventure destinations.
The Paarl MTB Challenge will offer the following races:
- 20km mountain bike race
- 20km e-mountain bike race
- 40km mountain bike race
- 40km e-mountain bike race
- 65km mountain bike race
- 65km e-mountain bike race
Off-trail activities will also be available throughout the weekend and on race day, including:
- Sport and Adventure Expo
- Kids’ activities
- Entertainment
- Food and drinks
- CBC Beer Festival
- Two kids’ pump tracks and play areas
