Our Huddle Park Golf Course Orienteering Event is the 7th event in our Urban series. Navigating across open fields and paths through wooded areas for this urban orienteering adventure makes it suitable for beginners, families, and experienced orienteers alike.
Orienteering is an outdoor adventure sport where you use a detailed map to navigate through different terrain to find a series of checkpoints called controls. You choose your own route between points, making it a fun challenge of fitness, strategy and navigation. There are different course options to suit all levels of fitness and experience. It can be done individually or as a group, competitively or just for fun! You choose what works for you.
There are 3 courses on offer -
Men's course: Suitable for experienced Orienteers, 4.5 km approx length, 100m climb
Women's course: Suitable for experienced Orienteers, 3 km approx length, 90m climb
Explorer course: Suitable for novices, 2 km approx length, 35m climb

Huddle Park Golf Course, Johannesburg
| Route information | Huddle Park Golf Course. Take the Linksfield off-ramp from the N3 and travel West toward the Neighborhood. Travel for 1.2km on Club Street, turning right into Huddle Park Golf and Recreation. Go through the Club street entrance and turn left through the gates towards the Recreational Area (Paddle and Fives Futbol). Parking for buses and cars around the grass area to the left above the Fives futbol fields.
