Welcome to the Paarlberg Hike

Step into the wild beauty of Spice Route and the Paarl Mountain Reserve on guided hikes through colourful fynbos and renosterveld, winding past ancient 500-million-year-old granite boulders and some of the most scenic viewpoints in the Winelands. Along the way, soak up sweeping views over the valley, dams, vineyards, and mountains while enjoying a relaxed outdoor adventure suitable for the whole family. Led by On Site Events, the festival will feature two unique hikes, each offering a memorable way to connect with nature, explore Paarl’s iconic landscapes, and be part of the adventure-filled weekend.

Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a nature-loving newcomer, this hike is designed to inspire, energize, and reward. Lace up and join us for a trail journey like no other — where granite giants meet vineyards, and every step tells a story.

• Medals for all finishers.
• Please do not leave any valuables in the car. You can leave it at registration.
• Registration will take place on the morning of the event and will be open one hour before the start.
• No refunds if you cancel your entry.
• Your entry will be removed if not paid after 3 days.
• Water stations will be available however it is always good to walk with your own hydration pack.
