The Cross is a well-known landmark on the foot of the Outeniqua mountains in George.
This is a lovely and very rewarding challenge to take on. Starting at the Garden Route Botanical Garden, we move up towards the Cross from where a beautiful view over George can be experienced. We will stop to rest and then from there in a Westerly direction, through the forest and return back to the start.
?? List of items required for all our hikes:
? Suitable lightweight hydration-/backpack/hip pouch
? Hydration/bottled water
? Sunscreen
? Hat/head gear
? Suitable non-slip shoes
? Snacks
? Lightweight windproof jacket
? Fleece/midlayer depending the weather
? Your own emergency items, such as bandage, small petroleum jelly, blister plasters, etc
✨ Optional items:
Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, beanie, buffs, sunglasses.
Meet at the parking area around 6h45.
♡ Hike starts strictly at 7h00.
