ASA Licence Requirements

An ASA licence is required for the 10km and 21.1km events.

Runners who do not hold a valid annual ASA licence will be required to purchase a temporary ASA licence for R60.

Route Information

All three distances will start and finish at Lephalale Mall and follow road routes through the Onverwacht area.

The routes are predominantly flat and fast, making the event ideal for competitive athletes, social runners and newcomers.

Water Points

Water points will be positioned approximately every 2.5km–3km along the routes, with refreshments available at the finish.

Minimum Ages

5km: No minimum age requirement. Children may participate with their parents or guardians.

Race Rules & Regulations

• The event will be run according to ASA and LIMA rules and regulations.
• Participants take part at their own risk and indemnify the organisers, sponsors, officials, LIMA and ASA against claims arising from participation in the event.
• All participants must obey the instructions of race officials, marshals and traffic officials.
• Proof of age or identification must be produced when requested.
• Age-category tags must be worn front and back and be clearly visible by athletes competing for age-category prizes.
• No pets will be permitted on the route.
• Headphones, earphones or other sound equipment are not permitted while participating.
• The referee's decision is final.
• Entries are non-refundable and may not be cancelled, returned or exchanged because of weather or circumstances outside the organisers' control.
• Participants must display their official race number and timing equipment correctly for the duration of the event.
