🏫 EXPERIENCE PRESIDENT STEYN

President Steyn is deeply rooted in the Bloemfontein community, with a proud history spanning 96 years. From humble beginnings, the school has grown into a respected educational institution in the heart of the agricultural community of Bainsvlei, where generations of learners have built their foundations, developed their values and started shaping their futures.

The school continues to combine tradition with progress, creating an environment where every learner is valued. With a school and residence, transport buses bringing learners from Bloemfontein and surrounding areas, and even daily transport from Dealesville, President Steyn serves a diverse community.

🌾 A NEW CHAPTER

2026 marks an exciting new chapter for President Steyn as the school moves towards becoming an Agricultural School.

The current Grade 8 learners are already taking Agricultural Studies, with Grades 8, 9 and 10 set to have access to agricultural subjects from 2027.

This makes President Steyn particularly unique — it is set to become the first school in Bloemfontein to offer Agriculture as part of its curriculum.

The Fun Run & Ride is therefore more than just a race; it is an opportunity to experience the school, its surroundings, its community and the exciting future ahead.
