WELCOME TO THE GRIND AT THE LAKES
Our first event of the 2017 Race Season will take place at the Dvine Estate in Paarl.
This event will consist of a short course designed for everyone from beginner to elite athletes. The course will be no less than 5km long. Every athlete will get a finishers medal.
For the ELITE race similar the course will be modified in a similar way to our indoor ISOCR event in the winter 2016 - ELITE athletes can expect very tough variations to the obstacles.

THE RAPID GRIND 5km: 30+ obstacles with easier obstacles but still challenging.
As always the Rapid Grind has been designed with first timers in mind and is a great introduction to Obstacle Course Racing. It will be challenging but achievable and is suitable for all fitness levels. Ideal for groups to get together have fun on the course or solos wanting to test their abilities.

THE RAPID GRIND ELITE 5km: 30+ obstacles as above except with modified obstacles. If you have enjoyed our 12 km races before than this is the race for you. Prize Money up for grabs.

THE RAPID GRIND MASTERS 5km : 30+ obstacles as above except with modified obstacles and for athletes who are over 40 on race day. Prizes up for grabs.

THE RAPID GRIND YOUNG GUNS 5km : 30+ obstacles as above except with modified obstacles and for athletes who are under 18 on race day. Prizes up for grabs.

THE LITTLE G: 250m – Kiddies course to keep the kids entertained and hopefully get them hooked on The Grind. The race will run all day and each kiddie will get a finishers medal.
TICKET PRICE - R120.00
The Elites will kick off the event with their batch starting at 8am. They will be followed by the Masters and the Young Guns.The Rapid Grind batches will start from 9am.
