WELCOME TO THE GRIND AT THE SPORT SHOWThis is our second event of the 2017 season and boy is it going to be awesome. We have partnered with The Sport’s Show and will be running a full Obstacle Course Race in conjuction with their event over two days.
This event will be held at Sandringham Farm, Stellenbosch The location is halfway between Cape Town and Paarl on the
N1, it’s easy to reach and offers a wonderful day out for the family

THE SPORT SHOW VALUED AT R150.00
We will have a 5km course designed for everyone
from beginners to funseekers as well as a 10km course for our fit family and the more Hardcore athletes. Then we have the competitive batches for the
Elites, Masters and Young Guns. The course will be modified for ELITE
athletes
The details for the different classes are as
follows:
THE RAPID GRIND 5km: 30+ obstacles with easier
obstacles but still challenging.
As always the Rapid Grind has been designed with
first timers in mind and is a great introduction to Obstacle Course Racing. It
will be challenging but achievable and is suitable for all fitness levels.
Ideal for groups to get together have fun on the course or solos wanting to
test their abilities.
Race batches on Both Saturday and Sunday.
TICKET PRICE - R350.00
THE DEEP GRIND 10km: 30 to 40 obstacles, this is a
longer distance with more challenging obstacles including heavier weights and
more grip strength obstacles.
Race Batches on both Saturday and Sunday.
TICKET PRICE - R450.00
THE DEEP GRIND ELITE 10km: 30 to 40 obstacles - as
above Deep Grind except with modified obstacles. Prizes money up for grabs.
The Elite race is on Sunday at 09.00.
TICKET PRICE - R500
THE RAPID GRIND MASTERS 5km: 30+ obstacles - as
above Rapid Grind except with modified obstacles and for athletes who are over
40 on race day. Prizes up for grabs.
The Rapid Masters Race is on Sunday at 09.15.

THE DEEP GRIND MASTERS 10km: 30 to 40 obstacles -
as above Deep Grind except with modified obstacles and for athletes who are
over 40 on race day. Prizes up for grabs.
The Deep Masters Race is on Sunday at 09.25.

THE YOUNG GUNS 5km: 30+ obstacles as above except
with modified obstacles and for athletes who are under 18 on race day. Prizes
up for grabs.
The Young Guns Race is on Sunday at 10.30.

THE LITTLE G: Kiddies course to keep the kids
entertained and hopefully get them hooked on The Grind

The event will run from 9 am until late on Saturday
and 9 am to 3pm on Sunday.

The inaugural Cape Argus SportShow, which was held
in the heart of the Cape winelands in March 2016, enjoyed phenomenal success,
thanks to its electric atmosphere, thrilling shows, abundance of gourmet foods
