KIRKWOOD ORCHARD RUN INFORMATION / GENERAL RULES

1. The 21,1km and 10km races will start at 07h00 and the 5km at 08h00 from the Kirkwood High School on Saturday 3 November 2018. 
2. Prize giving will start no later than 10h30
   
3. Entries may be handed in to Jeanette Pretorius at Lezmin Landini (Kirkwood), Sportsworld, Brian Bands, Sportsmans Warehouse, Action Sports and Brockett’s in Uitenhage.
4. Entries at Sports Shops will close on Wednesday 31 October 2018.
5. Online Entries are available on enter.entryninja.com/events/29182-kirkwood-orchard-half-marathon and will close on Tuesday 30 October 2018. 
6. Late entries and registration from 06h00 to 07h00 at the start on the morning of the race.
7. Official colours to be worn with Race Number on the front and 2018 or Temporary Licence Number on the back of your vest (21,1 and 10km). 
8. Runners must be 16 years or older for the 21,1km race, 14yrs or older for the 10km race and 9 years or older for the 5km event.
9. Marshals, Officials and Traffic Officers must be obeyed at all times. 
10. No private seconding will be allowed due to traffic congestion. 
11. All runners participate at their own risk. 
12. Distance markers every kilometre. 
13. Refreshments and food will be available at the finish. 
14. Cut off time is 3hrs 30mins.
15. Runners using a temporary licence shall produce proof of age on race day to qualify for category prizes.
16. The wearing of earphones or headsets is not permitted due to safety reasons and will lead to disqualification.
17. ANTI-LITTER CAMPAIGN 
    Refuse bins will be put up along side the route, up to 500m past the water point. Please discard used water sachets into or near to these bins 
    

Note: Running clubs entering in bulk to be pre race entries only. No bulk entries will be accepted on the morning of the race.
