Join the strong and fit during May 2019 on the Vanrhyns Toughie.  The route will take athletes over die steep Dooppoort Pass with a average gradient of 1:9 and certain sections 1:4. Tackle the Knersvlakte where participants will have to bite on their teeth to see them through the challenging 25 km.  Prizes for first three winners men and women and a medallion for all finishers within 5 hours

Begin at Lankverwacht Guest Farm on the Klein Kobee Road to join the Dooppoortpas.  Turning point at the summit of the pass with a loop in the Nama Karoo.  Finish at starting point  21km.

There will also be a fun run of 4km around the Loskoppe.

Coffee and tea before the start of the race will be on the house. Pancakes, Boerewors rolls and cold drinks for sale. Cold lunch on order.  12:45.  Take-aways or eat on site.  R 60.00.
