Lomond Triathlon

Finish your year well!

Be part of this stunning off-road Triathlon taking place just outside Gansbaai in the beautiful Overberg.

You will be spoilt with a swim in a pristine dam and a cycle and run in the beautiful vineyards and fynbos of Lomond Wine Estate and the Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy.

Do the whole triathlon on your own or bring your friends and family to do it in a team (2 or 3-person team).

The event takes place over a long weekend and The Lomond Open Water Swim (with 6 distances to choose from!) will take place the following day at the same venue. What better way to enjoy a long weekend and finish the year well?

There are several places to stay at Franskraal, Uilenkraalsmond, Pearly Beach, Stanford, Hermanus. Book early as these can become busy during the festive season.

The Lomond Wine Estate is the perfect venue with ample parking close to the action. There will be great food from local vendors, live music, great Lomond wine and other refreshments available so make sure to bring everyone along to congratulate you on doing this fun challenge!

Distances:

FULL – 1.2km Swim, 30km MTB, 12km Trail Run

SPRINT – 400m Swim, 15km MTB, 6km Trail Run

All the swimmers need to wear a light blue Lomond Swimming Cap.  You will receive this at registration inside your welcome pack.

Registration at Lomond:

13 December:  17:00 – 19:00 - Enjoy a glass of wine and something to eat while watching the sunset over this beautiful dam.

14 December:   06:30 – 08:00

* No refunds allowed.

* Upgrades/downgrades can be done on the day. No partial refunds for downgrades. The difference in price needs to be paid for the upgrade.

* Substitutions allowed for R50 at registration.

TEAM Categories – Mens, Ladies, Mixed or Family.  2 or 3 person per team.
